The AssociationThe Hockaday Neighborhood Association (HNA) was organized in 1994 as a voluntary, non-profit organization for the residents of the Hockaday Neighborhood in North Dallas to promote safety, encourage community, and preserve the beauty and stability of our neighborhood. All HNA activities are funded by annual membership dues and governed by the HNA Officers and Board of Directors, comprised of neighborhood volunteers who are elected annually by active members. |

| Extended Neighborhood Patrol Extended Neighborhood Patrol (ENP) is a Crime Watch program authorized by the Dallas Police Department (DPD) in which approved neighborhood organizations may hire armed, uniformed off-duty police officers to patrol their area. Neighborhoods using ENP programs have reported reduction in crime up to 50%. In cooperation with two of our neighboring associations, Royal Northaven Association and Les Jardins Estates, residents within the Hockaday neighborhood qualify for the ENP program and are encouraged to subscribe. The program administrator and DPD, supported by a collaboration of neighborhood representatives, determine the patrol schedule to optimize our budget, which is based on the number of subscribing members among the three participating neighborhoods. Simply put, the more residents who subscribe, the more patrol hours we can schedule. | Upcoming Events
